Explore Singapore: Marina Bay Sands Hotel

This post is to pen down my experience at the iconic Marina bay sands hotel.

Instantly recognizable by its three hotel towers connected by the Sands SkyPark, it's a major landmark and premier destination.

Besides being a luxury hotel, MBS features a massive casino, high-end shopping mall (The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands), the ArtScience Museum, multiple theatres, celebrity chef restaurants, and extensive convention facilities etc..

We had a chance to stay in this hotel during the Covid period whereby government promotes travel within Singapore. 

We paid about S$550 for a 1 night stay in end December 2020 for leisure, since we had not been travelling oversea since the lockdown.

During Covid period, the check in and check out can be pre-booked online, you can select your preferred time to check in where available.

We selected like 11am or 12pm for check in~ its a win since we were able to get an earlier timeslot than the usual 2-3pm check in time.

We booked an Ocean view room with balcony and high floor.

The room was really huge and comfortable!

The hotel also provided the covid care pack which is a really nice gesture. 

               

The ocean view was really fantastic after not being able to travel for almost a year.

Additionally, staying as a registered guest at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) hotel grants you complimentary access to the Sands SkyPark on level 56. 

Else the skypark would cost like S$35 per pax.

It a recommended to visit and enjoy the skyline of Singapore and the Central business district CBD.

Explore the MBS Infinity pool

The hotel's infinity pool is another must visit when you stay at the hotel.

You will need to present your valid hotel key card (one per registered guest) for entry.

The best time to visit is during the Sun Set, you will be able to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunset here.

As this was during the covid period, we have to book the timeslot as well, was really lucky that we were able to get the timeslot for sunset!

After enjoying the scenery and pool, we ordered shake shack for dinner (grab) since we were really lazy to walk to the shopping area for dinner..

Day 2 , Check out and visit to the Art Science museum.

Checked out at like 11am and went to the Art science museum since there was some exhibition there as well.
