Explore Singapore: Marina Bay Sands Hotel

View from MBS SkyPark

This post is to pen down my experience at the iconic Marina bay sands hotel.
Instantly recognizable by its three hotel towers connected by the Sands SkyPark, it's a major landmark and premier destination.
Besides being a luxury hotel, MBS features a massive casino, high-end shopping mall (The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands), the ArtScience Museum, multiple theatres, celebrity chef restaurants, and extensive convention facilities etc..

We had a chance to stay in this hotel during the Covid period whereby government promotes travel within Singapore.
We paid about S$550 for a 1 night stay in end December 2020 for leisure, since we had not been travelling oversea since the lockdown.

Explore Singapore: Pulau Ubin

Plan your trip to Pulau Ubin!

This blog post will feature my trip to Pulau Ubin to escape the modern bustle and step back in time!

This rustic island, just a short ferry ride from mainland Singapore, offers a refreshing glimpse into Singapore's past.

It is best to visit the place earlier in the morning so that you have more time to enjoy the place~~

What you can do in Pulau Ubin?

There are many things you can do, from Hiking, cycling, Kayaking, Fishing to Camping overnight at the designated campsite!

I think that its a great getaway from the city.. and to slow now your pace of life..

Explore Singapore: Sembawang Hotspring Park

The Cascading foot bath for soaking your feet!

Sembawang hot spring ..

is one of the few natural hot spring in Singapore! Yes Singapore has a natural hot spring and more than 1!

However, Sembawang hot spring is the only publicly accessible hot spring on mainland Singapore. The other hot spring is located on Pulau Tekong which is not open to the public.

My visit to the hot spring was right after the renovation in 2020. The place was nicely renovated and it was quite crowded.

Nagoya station

Takayama was a memorable stop for our Japan trip adventure back in late February 2020. Known for its beautifully preserved history and alpine surroundings, it offered a wonderful contrast to the bigger cities.

We bought a 5 days JR pass (S$152.50) for this trip and activated it on the day we leave Nagoya for Takayama.

Stayed for 2 Nights in Takayama

Took an early JR train from Nagoya.
