Just before Covid closes everything, we went on a 8D7N trip to Japan, the journey took us through several fascinating cities, giving us a taste of the diverse experiences Japan has to offer.

This trip is a free & easy trip with partial self-drive itinerary which took us through:
Nagoya 名古屋, Takayama 高山, Kanazawa 金沢, Osaka 大坂

Day 1 to 3 in Nagoya

We took a red-eye flight from Singapore to Nagoya and reaching Nagoya at almost 9am JST.

Deposited our luggage at the hotel before heading out for breakfast.

Komeda's Coffee
Had the famous Komeda's coffee which was a leading coffee shop chain originated in Nagoya and only available in Japan then.
(It has since opened its branches oversea now, saw many outlets in Taiwan now in 2024/5)

After loitering around for awhile, and waiting for the check-in time, we finally checked into the first accommodation of this trip.
We had accommodation booked at the Hilton Nagoya for 2 nights.
This hotel is located near Fushimi Station exit 7.
Not really much things to do in Nagoya, but we just want to go slow and enjoy.

Osu shopping street & Osu Kannon Temple

Shopping street was really crowded, it offers alot of food and shopping options though.

Osu Kannon Temple: A significant Buddhist temple, originally built in the 14th century and later moved to Nagoya. It's dedicated to Kannon, the goddess of mercy, and features a main hall, a library with ancient texts, and a monthly antique market. The temple provides a tranquil contrast to the bustling shopping street nearby.
